An Ensemble Project
The master's students in choreography from the Dance Department at KHiO (Oslo National Academy of the Arts) completed a two-week ensemble collaboration with dance students from KHiO and Høyskolen Kristiania.
The theme revolved around "Courts, Rituals, and Riots."
The result of this collaboration was presented in two performances—one at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and one at Høyskolen Kristiania.

Together we spent two weeks working with the body as vibrations, sound, and energy.

We played around with rhythm, patterns, loops, and games.

«COMMUNITY DANCING occurs only among humans, if by that phrase we mean a form of group behavior whereby an indefinite number of individuals start to move their muscles rhythmically, establish a regular beat, and continue doing so for long enough to arouse euphoric excitement shared by all participants, and (more faintly) by onlookers as well.»   William H.
